Focusing on complexity on social care
The ethos of the Lab is underpinned by Weaver’s (1948) work[1]. Weaver suggests that we should “stop thinking of science in terms of its spectacular successes in solving problems of simplicity” and instead focus on the complex situations that people experience, finding real solutions to some of the most important problems faced by so many.
