Double success for CIA PhD Researchers

Two CIA PhD students were commended at this year’s Postgraduate Research Showcase. The event was held at Taliesin on 8 May, celebrating Swansea University’s wide-ranging cutting-edge research and recognising the achievements of postgraduate research students.
Amy Murray, whose PhD examines the driving cessation process and its impact on older drivers and their social networks, was Shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution for Public Engagement Award.
Allyson Rogers, whose PhD focuses on age friendly communities for people with mobility difficulties, was Overall PGR Runner up in the Research as Art category for her entry in Swansea University’s 2018 Research as Art competition.
